Russ Hemstock - 'Lampy' - Lighting Engineer & Roadie

Russ is the ‘HRH’ backroom boy. His first priority is operating the 'HRH' lighting desk. However, he can also be relied upon for equipment repairs, driving, and small sewing jobs. He is the ideal ’Roadie' able to go for weeks on end without sleep. Surviving on a diet of alcohol, chips, and verbal abuse. He is totally house trained and of course fluent in the ancient roadie language of ‘Mumble & Grunt’.

Russ has been with ‘HRH’ from the begining and has made the job his own, largely because no-one else wanted it! No-one really knows why he does it, but it certainly wouldn’t be the same without him.

2011 update : We are proud to announce that Russ is to become the mascot of Mansfield Town FC … ‘Rusty’!
On match days he’ll be required to dress in an amusing manner, and run around shouting and gesticulating incoherently for no apparent reason.….We know he can do that!
Russ was so excited when he heard the news that he broke into a smile and pulled a muscle in one of his chins. He now plans to get into shape for his new role by cutting some shapes to some of his favourite RnB grooves ….in the privacy of his own recently acquired poly tunnel of Leeerve!!
